The Annual General Meeting for the year 2022 was help on the 22nd of February 2023, at the CCCI Building, in the presence of CIF members and distinguished guests.
The AGM 2022 commenced with a verification of quorum and a welcome note to members and guests. Next, the Chairman with the assistance of CIF legal advisors analysed some important developments that relate to the course of action of the organisation in 2023. The financial statements of 2021 were then presented by the Treasurer of the organisation, in the presence of the representative of the auditing firm, whose reappointment as financial auditors was renewed after approval by the members.
In the absence of elections, the Board of Directors requested the validation of trust by the CIF members which was granted. The Board of Directors currently is comprised of Marios Skandalis (Chairman), Elena Tanou (Vice Chair), Branislava van der Linden (Secretary), Nicolas Shiakallis (Treasurer), and members Dimitris Katopodis, Dr Stelios Hadjichristofi and Rovertos Yiousellis. Special thanks were given to Mr Aristodimos Yiannakas, who is stepping down from the position of Treasurer due to increased professional demands. The Chairman expressed his gratitude for Mr Yiannakas contribution to CIF for six years, and requested that he remains close to the organisation, as member and active supporter.
Finally, the Chairman of CIF Mr Marios Skandalis presented to the members the achievements of the organisation of year 2022, as well as the ACTION PLAN of 2023. The members were asked to contribute to the discussion by offering their own perspective as to ACTION PLAN proposed. The discussion was fruitful and interesting and provided useful feedback for the actions proposed in the ACTION PLAN 2023.
