The Anniversary Annual General Meeting of the Cyprus Integrity Forum (CIF) was successfully held on June 2, 2025, at the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), marking 15 years of continuous contribution by the organization to the promotion of transparency and integrity in Cypriot society.
The event began with an address by the Minister of Justice and Public Order, Mr. Marios Hartsiotis, who praised the work of CIF and its contribution to strengthening institutions.
This was followed by a brief address from the Secretary General of the CCCI, Mr. Phylokypros Roussounides, who emphasized the crucial role of entrepreneurship in establishing an ethical and transparent society, as well as the continued support of the business community in facing national and economic challenges.
Mrs. Tatiana Zachariadou, a member of the Board of the Independent Authority Against Corruption, also addressed the event, highlighting the importance of social cooperation in combating corruption.
The President of CIF, Mr. Marios Skandalis, presented the organization’s activity report for the year 2024 and outlined the strategic goals for 2025, stressing that the fight for transparency requires collective mobilization and constant vigilance.
A special moment of the event was the virtual intervention by Mrs. Victoria Penrice, former President of the Chartered Governance Institute of the UK and Ireland, who shared valuable international insights on transparency principles.
Award Ceremony for 11 Pioneering Organizations
During the ceremony, honorary awards were presented to 11 member organizations of the Business Integrity Forum for their commitment to the values of business integrity and transparency. The organizations and their representatives who received the awards were:

As part of the event, CIF welcomed a new member to the Business Integrity Forum, CDB Bank. The event was attended by the bank’s Executive Director, Mr. Loukas Marangos, demonstrating the bank’s active participation in an institution that tangibly promotes ethical entrepreneurship.
